My longtime friend Alison Rezabek encouraged me to find a race to do this this year—even if I had to choose a short one and walk it—when she felt my disappointment in having to give up a triathlon season because of my treatment plan and related needs. I chose the Night Nation Run Saturday, May 11, at night, at Soldier Field.
It's less of a race and more a dance party with running in between stages with DJs. Like, they don't even post a distance. π
Bonus: The checkout flow encourages you to donate to cancer research! (I'm not fundraising with a goal, just encouraging donations.)
Sign up to hang that night! My team is "Team Sara Beats Cancer," of course.
Let's do this! π
